A morning walk around the Dawson to the weir, then off again, lunch & top up water tanks in Rolleston, then on to Emerald at the freecamp under the rail bridge at the botanical gardens. A quick shopping expedition & dinner at the Chinese.
The waning moon on this morning Dawson river walk.
Video at weir
Where cars go to die beside the weir...
Lunch at Rolleston. We were very low on drinking water so filled the tanks in the van & the spare 220 litre tank in the ute. Should last us a while.
The water filling station at the Rolleston park is a very popular place.
I am getting more handsom as each day goes by.
A rocky bluff just outside Springsure.
Arriving on the outskirts of Emerald.
An echidna we came across on our afternoon walk in Emerald . When he saw us he rushed up to a tree & stuck his head between his front legs, on the assumption that if he couldn't see us, we couldn't see him.
A passing train above our campsite. It sounded as if it was coming through the van.

Gee, lucky you getting the flu. I thought I was well and truly over my respiratory issues, but last couple of days have gone backwards a little. Oh well, back to the nebulizer machine and inhaler for a little while. Get well soon and continue to enjoy. Roz
