Once again I am composing off line, as we have been out of communication for the last 3 days.
I hope to be able to post tomorrow as we pass through Katherine once again before we turn West once more & head for
Kunanura, WA.
We spent a great couple of days in Litchfield national park swimming in the crystal clear waters and enjoying
the many waterfalls gorges & swimming holes.
We saw some other stuff as well, but when its this hot, swimming & water are headliners.
Today we moved south & explored Bachelor which was uncharacteristically green & Pine creek rail museum & mining stuff.
We met the most amazing character at the Pine creek, who kept us entertained for quite a while. He reckoned
he was the fat comptroller from Thomas the Tank Engine.
I am begining to think he was telling the truth. We lost Jo & Kevin, who left early while we were
still having breakfast & arranged to Meet us for a free camp at Edith river tonight. We haven't seen them since,
we are now camped at Edith river, which is probably the prettiest camp we have had,
complete with crystal clear swimming hole & no visible crocs.
We just recieved an email from Jo @ 6.30pm saying they are at King West on the Victoria highway,
west of Katherine. So I guess we won't see them again before Lake Argyle, as we are tending to stop
a lot more & therefore are unlikely to catch them before then.
OK..Here are the pics, try to stay awake.
Next day.. Posting now, probably out of touch again for the next few days.
